Diversity Uplifts, Inc. is a direct service, consulting, and training 501(c)(3) non-profit organization determined to improve the well-being of women, birthing people, children and families by supporting marginalized and minority communities, while increasing cultural competence and humility among providers who serve them.

  • WHAT WE DO

    WE SUPPORT COMMUNITIES BY:

    • Advocating on community advisory boards

    • Providing guidance on county, state, and national policies

    • Backing policies focused on uplifting communities of color as well as marginalized communities

    WE SUPPORT COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS BY:

    • Spotlighting the voices and efforts of community-based programs and organizations

    • Coordinating advanced training of community-based doulas and birthworkers

    • Facilitating low cost trainings for small community centers and organizations
  • WE SUPPORT PROVIDERS WITH:

    • Provider consultations

    • Educational training on Implicit Bias & Cultural Humility; Historical Trauma & Racism; Birthing Justice and Human Rights in Childbirth; Maternal Mental Health; Mental Health & Wellness; Supporting Incarcerated Mothers
